Comments from patient: Dr. McDonald has been my doctor for the last 15 years, and has always treated me with respect. He listens to me and doesn't dismiss my views simply because I am not a doctor. He is also a world leader in IBD research, and I have always been able to get the most up-to-date treatment from him and the other doctors at University Hospital. Another doctor I would highly recommend (also at University Hospital) is Brian Feagen (I think that is the correct spelling) Dr. F. is heavily involved in research, most recently the Canadian Remicade trial.

Additional Comments: All of the medical staff at London Health Sciences Centre are top notch, as London is the home of the University of Western Ontario medical school, and its hospitals are teaching hospitals. Being a patient in a teaching hospital can be trying at times, but the level of care makes up for any shortcomings.
